NADIA DAUS:   My name is Nadia, i am a graphic artist from Ukraine and by some of my graphics, i created also this ceramic piece. Unfortunately at this moment there is war in my country and a lot of homes are deytroyed, all the people lost their homes and it is also a great damage to the nature. A lot of landschaftsschutzgebiete (landscape protection areas) are destroyed, totally destroyed and i feel so much pain about this and i decided to create this piece.

This is a jail* in Olenivka. A lot of Ukrainian defenders were shot there by the russian bombs. And the nation, the Ukrainians hoped to exchange these warriors and defenders with the Russian soldiers but at the moment it is not possible because a lot of people are dead and we hope in to hint other people. This art reflects this painful Situation.

This one was town Mariupol. Mariupol is one of the fastest growing cities in Ukraine with a lot of new possibilities. A lot of new buildings were built but at the moment it was deytroyed and 90 % of the buildings are ruins and a lot of people are dead. We dont know exactly how much but it is like a disaster and lots of people, families Friends homes and so on. That is what i want to explain with my heart.

* A Prison in Olenivka was damaged by an explosion, killing and wounding a number of prisoners kept inside. At the moment, the ukrainian government is working on the return of the rest of the soldiers.
