The  Person Helena Kwiatkowska

Helena Kwiatkowska: as Journalist of the Polish Television (TVP) branch in Szczecin (1986-1994), i worked as head of the journalism department of TVP Szczecin. i m Graduated from the Faculty of Philology and History of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and four postgraduate studies. For a year i was  media advisor to West Pomeranian Voivodeship Governor Marek Talasiewicz. In the years 1994-1996, owner of the SENSUS film agency for the production of reports and educational programs for the first and second TVP television channels. Full-time journalist at the newspaper “Kurier Szcecinski” (1998-2006), with which i m  still working today. Author of over 100 broadcast television programs, reports and documentaries. From 2004 to 2011 i taught courses in postgraduate PR studies at the West Pomeranian Business School. Founder and Vice President (2007-2011) of the West Pomeranian Association for Public Relations. From 2014 to 2021 i was active as Vice President of the Board of the Association of Journalists of the Republic of Poland. Author and producer of benefits for famous citizens of Szczecin, which i have been running since 2016 in the Pomeranian Library in Stettin, together with Anna Koller. In 2021 i wrote and published (together with Jaroslaw Dalecki and Anna Koller) a book about a television tower, the former headquarters of Polish television and the Polish radio branch in Szczecin. Author of the script and producer of the documentary film “There was a skyscraper”. I shot the film at the turn of the year 2021/2022 thanks to a grant from the West Pomeranian Film Fund POMERANIA FILM. The film was shown at open screenings in Constant Cultural Situations and as part of the Cultural Heritage Days in September 2022 at the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes in Szczecin. I am the president of the Szczecin Art Promotion and Education Association, whose members carry out various cultural projects (from public funds and grants from open competitions), e.g. Exhibitions (retrospectives) of deceased painters or documentaries that are broadcast on TVP and YouTube.
In 2023 i made two documentaries: the first, entitled “A Women's Affair”, is about two sculptors who, 50 years ago, created the monument to the charitable institutions of the Pomeranian Prince Boguslaw and the second: about the respected Szczecin citizen Johannes Quistorp.

The Film "Johannes Quistorp"

Helena Kwiatkowska: ..this is a documentary film titled "Johannes Quistorp" and tells about the life and activities of Johannes Quistorp (1822 - 1899), a merchant, trader, industrialist, builder of several districts of Szczecin, as well as the founder of numerous schools and the Bethania hospital and today's park. J. Kasprowicz. The film has been financed by the Association of Polish Municipalities of the Pomerania Euroregion under the Interreg VIA Mecklenburg Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027 Cooperation Program and from the state budget. My films are the result of my whole work-life experience with the society and my personal empathetic interaction with people.

The Interview

Helena appeared on June 30, 2024 in a rainy day in Cafe 22 in a live panorama of the city of Stettin in her background, sitting and having an icecream, talking about her films, her life and her person with imagofeminae (Paiman Davarifard).
