I am born in Istanbul in 1981. Currently living between Bodrum, Turkey and London, UK. I have studied business and graduated in 2003 in United States but decided tochange my career a year later in Fine Arts. I continued my studies at School of Museum of Fine Arts at Boston, today known as SMFA at Tufts University. I did my Post-Baccaleurate degree in Fine Arts and finished four years diploma programme in a year and graduated from SMFA in 2007. I lived in Istanbul since last year and been living in UK last six years. I had done five solo shows and most recent one in London in April 2024.

I have attended many international group shows in Barcelona, Salzburg, London, Tokyo and more in the last twenty years of my career. Recently Iattended the group show in Gallery Azur Berlin Session 8 which openned in 29 November and continues until January 9, 2025. I am currently exhibiting two of my large size paintings. The one in the photograph with the lobster symbolizes Emotional Purification, 150x150cm painting Acrylic and Oil on Canvas. Lobster is an animal that can heal itself once loosing its claw by reproducing them.

It is representing self—healing from emotinal traumas by being able to heal ourselves once we get hurt emotionally. I chose to present the red lobster in a personal space such as bathroom where privacy is convenient to have some personal time and washed by water, which also symbolizes cleaning emotions. In my art, I use symbols such as animal spirit medicines from shamanism to give viewers encouragement for self awareness and healing. I prefer to use colors that are used in color therapy. I chose red lobster as red presents tension but the back ground in a greyish blue is to bring balance in calmness.
